Joshua Leeds is a music producer, educator, and sound researcher. He is one of few published authorities in the exciting new field of psychoacoustics the study of the effects of music and sound on the human nervous system.
Since1986, he has produced 30+ recordings, collaborating with leaders in health, psychology, and neurodevelopment. Co-creators include Advanced Brain Technologies, Apollo Chamber Ensemble, DGC Research, Louise L. Hay, The Monroe Institute, Dr. Jeffrey Thompson, Andrew Weil, M.D., and Anna Wise.

Between 1996-2000, Joshua was co-founder of Applied Music & Sound Technologies and creative director of The Arcangelos Chamber Ensemble. He is currently the creative director of Resonant Forte, an audio production company specializing in psychoacoustic programs for health, learning, and productivity. Classical recordings for Resonant Forte are performed by the Apollo Chamber Ensemble.

Joshua is the author of Through a Dog’s Ear (Sounds True, 2008), The Power of Sound (Healing Arts Press, 2001) and Sonic Alchemy (InnerSong Press, 1997). His books are published in multiple languages, including Russian, Chinese, and Hebrew.
Since 1991, he has published numerous magazine articles focusing on the therapeutic applications of music and sound. American and European publications include the peer-reviewed American Journal of Acupuncture, Open Ear Journal, New Age Retailer, Caduceus, and Nyt Aspect.
Joshua conducts seminars internationally for music, healthcare, and education professionals. He is the creator of Sound-Remedies.com, an online resource for psychoacoustic music, books, and videos.
